IMC Math Modeling Contest (IMMC)Application Form
1. A test to read the given research paper, make a problem that is happening around us in relation to the paper, solve the problem with mathematics, and write a solution.
2. The middle school division has a 6-hour exam, while the high school division has an 8-hour exam. Answer sheets can be submitted in doc, docx, or pdf format. If handwritten, they can also be submitted as a jpg file.
3. There is no fixed length for the answer sheet, but on average, students submit around 5 to 12 A4 pages.
4. You can use books, Internet, calculator, and coding but if you use ChatGPT to copy it, the test will be canceled and several universities in collaboration with us will be notified. Using ChatGPT is judged as cheating.
5. IMC Math Modeling Contest (IMMC) This is designed to test students' creative math skills.
6. Minimum of 2 to a maximum of 4 students per team.
7. In the middle school division, students can be in the same team with students from different schools or countries. However, in the high school division, all team members must be from the same school, and a school teacher must submit the application.
